about us

embrace the unpredictable.
become Unstoppable.

our mission to empower

We know that resilience isn’t just about surviving; it’s also about getting back up after a setback, with the strength and commitment to carry on. Today’s world is more convenient than ever before, which makes us more vulnerable when hard times hit, and worse affected by life’s problems. It can be annoying when our phones die or very confusing when the power goes out. And our modern conveniences can make us unprepared for when bad things happen. As hard as these problems can be, they’re the only way to find out what we’re capable of.

Our goal is simple. We take things back to basics, strip away the noise, awaken inner resilience, and prepare people for anything life throws at them.

We recognise the power of primal instincts. We empower with no-nonsense facts, essential skills, and unwavering support to face any situation with a ‘bring it on’ attitude. That’s what gets us out of bed every morning.

why we’re here

The future-ready movement strives to close the gap between modern comforts and the ability to handle adversity. We get right to the heart of today’s problems, such as dealing with the effects of climate change, the uncertainty of the economy, and staying safe in a digital world full of false information.

Our goal is to help people see problems as opportunities, draw on the resilience of those who thrive in the face of adversity, and to apply these lessons to our more shielded lives. By getting them back in touch with their primal instincts, we give them the knowledge and tools to embrace uncertainties.

So that when something unexpected happens, they’ll not only be ready, they’ll be ahead of the game.

our founder

Meet our founder, Emily!
Since starting her career as an Event Manager at the NEC in 2007, she has gained unparalleled experience in exhibitions and live events over the past 17 years. Most recently she is known for the seamless delivery of the UK’s second largest B2C exhibitions, attracting upwards of 100,000+ visitors each.
Throughout her career, Emily has earned the respect of the industry, featuring in articles for both Exhibition News and NEBOSH, as well as delivering keynote speeches for Event Week Live and providing consultative services for newcomers.

Emerging from the pandemic, Emily saw not only an unaddressed gap in the market, but also the wider implications of a society dependent on others and struggling services. From this observation, she developed a personal commitment to bring strength and resilience back to the nation. After months of consumer and business research and years of event experience behind her, the concept of Readyr was born.

Passionate to make a difference, she’s inviting others to do the same – step up to the table and work togeher towards building a stronger society.
